The Docks Near the Goondocks









May God bless you, and may your bones bleach in the sands

















These photos are of the Peter Iredale, a four masted sail ship that ran aground off the coast of Oregon in 1906. The bow and two bases for the masts are still sticking out of the sand today because the ship was partially made of steel and partially of wood, with the steel pieces remaining for me to photograph. The title of this post is supposedly the captain's last words to the ship when he was rescued from the shipwreck.
