This is two shots merged together. They were taken about 40 minutes apart. When the sunset was at its best the city lights were not very bright and by the time all the lights had come on the colors of the sunset were faded. It took me quite a while to blend these two pictures in photoshop, but it probably would have taken someone with photoshop skills only a few minutes.
